Since its inception in 1982, the generous support of individuals, groups, corporation, and foundations has enabled Sojourner House to provide comprehensive, innovative programs that empower women and help them achieve their full potential. With government steadily declining, Sojourner House must rely more and more on support from the private sector to continue to strengthen its programs.
